• Sea, sun, and software

Software engineering is our topic number one but we do not forget that one has to relax in order to learn efficiently. Elba's beautiful beaches are available to all the participants at no additional cost. We have also booked sunny weather for the whole duration of the school.

• Excursion

There is no better place to discuss the latest developments in software engineering than the blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. A boat trip to the beautiful island of Pianosa with a stop for swimming will be organized on Saturday 17 September. Departure: 14:00. Duration: 4.5 hours.

• Party

We strongly encourage the participants to discuss their research with other people and exchange the ideas. We hope that the party on Wednesday 14 September will provide a platform for fruitful discussions and give birth to many interesting collaborations.
