Other activities

  • Poster session and student talks

The LASER school is interactive: we give the participants the opportunity to present their research in the poster session. The authors of the best posters will be selected to present their work in the short talk session.

  • Sea, sun, and software

Software engineering is our topic number one but we do not forget that one has to relax in order to learn efficiently. Elba's beautiful beaches are available to all the participants at no additional cost. We have also booked sunny weather for the whole duration of the school.

  • Excursion

There is no better place to discuss the latest developments in software engineering than the blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. A boat trip with a stop for swimming will be organized on Saturday 23 September. Departure: 14:30. Duration: 4.5 hours.

  • Party

We strongly encourage the participants to discuss their research with other people and exchange the ideas. We hope that the party on Wednesday 21 September will provide a platform for fruitful discussions and give birth to many interesting collaborations.
